The East Bay Fencers Gym is committed to providing a fun, low-stress environment for fencers of all levels. We firmly believe in integrity, excellence and honor. Our commitment is to help you define and reach your own personal goals, whether that means learning the basics or competing at a national level. The main thing is that we want everyone to be comfortable and competititive without all the ego.

If you are unfamiliar with fencing and want too learn more check out the United States Fencing Association (USFA). They have great resources for understanding the basics of the sport.

EBFG is committed to the following:

  • The Bay Cup--a joining of the various divisions to form a cohesive circuit schedule that ties all the Northern, Central, and Mt. Valley non-divisional events. Prizes are given to those that win the most points in this on-going circuit.

  • The United States Fencing Association (USFA).
    The USFA is the organization directing the sport of fencing within the United States. You can find listings of different clubs around the USA on the USFA site.

  • American Fencing Magazine is the official magazine of the USFA.
  • The United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA).
    The United States Fencing Coaches' Association is a national academy of the Academie d'Armes Internationale, (AAI), the world organization of fencing masters.
